Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Penha in the 13th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Penha came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nova Iguaçu MZFC's zone, Erwann Patrice stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mickaël Maris came out of the goal and Erwann Patrice tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erwann Patrice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickaël Maris having to interfere. Bogdan Bambas might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mickaël Maris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bogdan Bambas ran back to his position shaking his head. Bogdan Bambas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Mickaël Maris made a huge save. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Nova Iguaçu MZFC from getting a goal against them. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erwann Patrice in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nova Iguaçu MZFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 88th minute Bogdan Bambas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Maris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Heitor Ferreira in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cosa nostra Lyon's Willy Hautefeuille. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
