Spectators: 471 (Terracing: 354, Seating: 108, VIP seats: 9) Bartlomiej Porajewski started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Renatinho Catarinense recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bogumil Ciechocki. Renatinho Catarinense showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 9th minute, Tobiasz Lichorobiec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Catarinense came free, but Bogumil Ciechocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Renatinho Catarinense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bogumil Ciechocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Tylinski hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's Bogumil Ciechocki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's zone, Renatinho Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Ciechocki came out of the goal and Renatinho Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Tobiasz Lichorobiec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dmytro Zhak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Porajewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobiasz Lichorobiec got free with Bogumil Ciechocki in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobiasz Lichorobiec's late challenge caught a GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobiasz Lichorobiec helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Philadelphia Union FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tobiasz Lichorobiec hit a great ball. Bogumil Ciechocki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tobiasz Lichorobiec in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobiasz Lichorobiec to make the kick off. Tytus Przewozik hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Bogumil Ciechocki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobiasz Lichorobiec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's Wlodzimierz Bendyk got a free kick in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Philadelphia Union FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartlomiej Porajewski came free, but Dmytro Zhak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dmytro Zhak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tytus Przewozik in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobiasz Lichorobiec in the 76th minute of play forced GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's goalkeeper Bogumil Ciechocki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's zone, Tobiasz Lichorobiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogumil Ciechocki came out of the goal and Tobiasz Lichorobiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Philadelphia Union FC made a substitution. Viktor Nakonechnyi replaced Denys Karmalita. Philadelphia Union FC's Myroslav Zanevskyi was substituted for Tobiasz Lichorobiec. Dmytro Zhak came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's Bartlomiej Porajewski. But to his dismay, Bartlomiej Porajewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki's Daniel Tylinski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lev Voinarovskyi, made in the 93rd minute of the game. After 95 minutes, Bartlomiej Porajewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GKS Grodzisk Mazowiecki and the Philadelphia Union FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The Philadelphia Union FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
