Real Death Ducks were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Estudiantes de América's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ive Volckaerts took the corner. 6 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Syd Cullen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Syd Cullen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kraig Fred. In the 17th minute, Cornelio Ruisko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Leon Dzierwa. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 23rd minute of play forced Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Syd Cullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes of play, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Syd Cullen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Death Ducks's goalie prevented a goal. Ive Volckaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Marcos Ranolfo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wen Feng Shi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Kert Roolaid. Kraig Fred fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Syd Cullen having to interfere.

The audience was convinced that Franklin de Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Ranolfo was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Kraig Fred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Syd Cullen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 60 played minutes Real Death Ducks got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Txindoki. In the 61st minute Orlando Beltza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Syd Cullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Syd Cullen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the game, Traian Blăniță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Syd Cullen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Syd Cullen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Concetto Trasatti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Blăniță in the 72nd minute of play forced Real Death Ducks's goalkeeper Syd Cullen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Augustin Cârstea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Death Ducks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. Augustin Cârstea kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Korneliusz Miodek shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Syd Cullen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marcos Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robin Hultstrand's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Estudiantes de América had won after a very even match.
