With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albert Rauvoe in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buach Byrne saved FC St. Pauli from getting behind. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Albert Rauvoe was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Emil Enegren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Azulgrana 81's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Emil Enegren struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cirilo Peyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC St. Pauli. FC St. Pauli's Buach Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şentürk Temel in the 71st minute of play.
