An unexpectedly hard shot by Arlindo de Salles in the 13th minute of play forced MARAZZINO's goalkeeper Lütfü Öktemer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Claudiu Răducanu came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the MARAZZINO fans jumped to their feet. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Claudiu Răducanu put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Iuri das Neves. Iuri das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 93rd minute, João Adolfo Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of LUIZ PANATO booed when MARAZZINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Pilsudski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MARAZZINO fans cheered their team off the field, for while LUIZ PANATO had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
