In the 16th minute Dong Cheng Si shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorinel Munteanu during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dong Cheng Si in the 36th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Tiberiu Caramarin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Kasım Okanalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dong Cheng Si in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Calistrat Madgearu saved MIT from getting behind. The supporters of MIT booed when ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Melo didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 52nd minute, Tiberiu Caramarin made a precise shot to the right of Kasım Okanalp. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejandro Larpe during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Alejandro Larpe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Bucataru in the 84th minute of play forced ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's goalkeeper Kasım Okanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zekai Asker got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Zekai Asker hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. MIT's Aurel Buzea was substituted for Florin Seremet. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MIT fans cheered their team off the field, for while ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
