An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto de Souza in the 10th minute of play forced Фиолетовая машина's goalkeeper Sergey Kostenetskiy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Irakliy Abakshin in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by LaCity's Cacá Barros. In the 14thth minute of the game Irakliy Abakshin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LaCity's Décio Tróia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rudolf Havizev kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Haroldo Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. LaCity's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergey Kostenetskiy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Irakliy Abakshin came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Фиолетовая машина fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irakliy Abakshin couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arkadiy Pakhomov was the one to do the kick off. Sergey Kostenetskiy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Kaptein in the 56th minute of the match.
