Biagio Scoca might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Billy Palmquist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Biagio Scoca ran back to his position shaking his head. Armando Ceresoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Billy Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niccolo Zaniolo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 12th playminute. Adrian Brenner kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th play minute Armando Ceresoli came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Billy Palmquist. 4-0. Republic of Jämtland's Billy Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scoca in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Armando Ceresoli could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Billy Palmquist however easily saved by the left post. 28 minutes into the game, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Niccolo Zaniolo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Billy Palmquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 32nd minute, Armando Ceresoli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foot Ball Club di Roma fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Biagio Scoca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billy Palmquist having to interfere. If Biagio Di Marco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Republic of Jämtland's zone, Ettore Scarcella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Billy Palmquist came out of the goal and Ettore Scarcella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Billy Palmquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Biagio Scoca, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Pååk was the one to do the kick off. If Niccolo Zaniolo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute Armando Ceresoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Fedele Cimino made a precise shot to the right of Billy Palmquist. Republic of Jämtland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. The supporters of Foot Ball Club di Roma booed when Republic of Jämtland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billy Palmquist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. 79 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Armando Ceresoli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billy Palmquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Billy Palmquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Ceresoli in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Armando Ceresoli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Billy Palmquist. Republic of Jämtland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Ceresoli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. In the 85th minute, Armando Ceresoli made a precise shot to the right of Billy Palmquist. Republic of Jämtland's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-0. In the 88th minute Armando Ceresoli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billy Palmquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Armando Ceresoli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Billy Palmquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Armando Ceresoli got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Armando Ceresoli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Billy Palmquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Foot Ball Club di Roma's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
