After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Alex Vieru got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Bernardo Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Valeriu Blaj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Murgu to maneuver through the defense. Basilio Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Ivasiuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 22 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Martinescu. If Bernardo Ranolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Fonso kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Dragoş Ivasiuc notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin. Basilio Justin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Sandu Bâru made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Justin. Club Atlético Atlanta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 35 minutes into the game, Dragoş Ivasiuc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Basilio Justin. Dragoş Ivasiuc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Wilfredo Gaxan struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Filip Mirciulescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atlético Atlanta.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dragoş Ivasiuc to make the kick off. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marius Agulescu was slow to take the kick. During this time BVB 09's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Marius Agulescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Basilio Justin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dragoş Ivasiuc took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Basilio Justin. Basilio Justin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Basilio Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Ivasiuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Bernardo Ranolfo charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Ranolfo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Club Atlético Atlanta were furious when Paulino Frechoso was red carded, 83 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 91 minutes into the game, Alex Vieru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BVB 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in BVB 09 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 90th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 92 minutes, Club Atlético Atlanta's Dionisio Monico got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Filip Mirciulescu. Filip Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Felipo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Dionisio Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mirciulescu having to interfere. BVB 09 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atlético Atlanta for a fine match.
