Călin Boteanu stood somewhat misplaced when Sandu Bâru came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 3 minute. After 5 played minutes BVB 09 got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Arbore. 6 minutes into the match, BVB 09's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Rednic came free, but Filip Mirciulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, DINAMO's Călin Boteanu got control of the ball when Dragoş Ivasiuc tried to sneak it across the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Dragoş Ivasiuc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Călin Boteanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sandu Bâru in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Călin Boteanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, BVB 09's Sandu Bâru dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Dragoş Ivasiuc sped through DINAMO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Călin Boteanu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Bâru in the 40th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Călin Boteanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Ivasiuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Boteanu having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandu Bâru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Dragoş Ivasiuc notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of DINAMO's Călin Boteanu. Călin Boteanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Remus Elisei got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute, Sandu Bâru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BVB 09 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 66th minute Dragoş Ivasiuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Boteanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BVB 09's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Adam Rednic scored to the left of an out of position Filip Mirciulescu, making the score, 6-1. Călin Boteanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Bâru, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Călin Boteanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Bâru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mihail Aldea hit a great ball. Sandu Bâru scored 7-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Călin Boteanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Călin Boteanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dragoş Ivasiuc's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Călin Boteanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandu Bâru in the 89th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Sever Colin got a free kick in the 90th minute. DINAMO's Călin Boteanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Bâru in the 95th minute of play.
