If Eurico Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Marinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Lleir in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Amílton Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amancio Paez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 10th minute, Nelson Faria made a precise shot to the right of Amancio Paez. Falckner FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to 卡納里尼奧 FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Basílio Melo hit a great ball. Carlos Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Gil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when 卡納里尼奧 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giuseppe Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball. Falckner FC's Amancio Paez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Guedes in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Amílton Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Paez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Marinho's late challenge caught a Falckner FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Marinho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Amílton Marinho got a free kick in the 28th minute. Carlos Marinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgardo Lleir in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute, Agostinho Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Amancio Paez. Falckner FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ronaldão Torres kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Dario Manex hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Agostinho Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amancio Paez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dario Manex hit a great ball. Dionisio Emesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Marinho having to interfere. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Ronaldão Torres got a free kick in the 65th minute. Carlos Marinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionisio Emesto's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. After 71 minutes of play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Nelson Faria made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amancio Paez was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Amancio Paez managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when 卡納里尼奧 FC's Amílton Marinho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Agostinho Guedes sped through Falckner FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amancio Paez. Amancio Paez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agostinho Guedes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Desiderio Corderun fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Falckner FC's protests and gave Desiderio Corderun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Corderun to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Corderun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Edgardo Lleir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes in the game, Edgardo Lleir dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. 卡納里尼奧 FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
