With a couple of smart ball manuevers Meti Gol in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Mejia saved C.A. GUAYACO from getting behind. Hugo Mejia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meti Gol's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Meti Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Mejia having to interfere. Erling Jering received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hugo Mejia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Vela Garros got a free kick in the 24th minute. 24 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's goal looked a bit too open when Meti Gol came free, but Hugo Mejia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erling Jering in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Meti Gol in the 30th minute of play forced C.A. GUAYACO's goalkeeper Hugo Mejia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Meti Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Mejia was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Meti Gol was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Meti Gol made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. C.A. GUAYACO's Hugo Mejia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Meti Gols short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Hugo Mejia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hugo Mejia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Meti Gol's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Erling Jering struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Hugo Mejia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Racing Club. A collision led to C.A. Hugo Mejia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Guillen, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Meti Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Hugo Mejia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Meti Gol sped through C.A. GUAYACO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Mejia. Hugo Mejia made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Meti Gol sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute of the match Real Racing Club got a corner. C.A. GUAYACO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaudencio Lixandro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Real Racing Club's Gaudencio Lixandro to fire away a dangerous shot which Hugo Mejia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The nice shot from Nunez Larpe in the 94thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Hugo Mejia had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Real Racing Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
