The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute of the match Genaro Frechoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sidney Hermes skillfully saved the ball. In the 8th match minute, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Paulo Neves to maneuver through the defense. Sidney Hermes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Corderun in the 10th minute of play. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Sidney Hermes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Corderun in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s goalkeeper Sidney Hermes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Wanderson Paranaense fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s protests and gave Wanderson Paranaense a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Wanderson Paranaense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amancio Paez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Falckner FC's Victorio Claus got a free kick in the 29th minute. Wanderson Paranaense struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Amancio Paez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CANIL VON ZAATARI™️. Sidney Hermes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Luís Paulo Coelho hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Pedrão Pirani was substituted for Nico Moreira. CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Jefferson Paranaense was substituted for João Pedro Paiva. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wanderson Paranaense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Henrique took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amancio Paez. Amancio Paez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Luís Paulo Coelho, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sidney Hermes was a little too slow when Edgardo Lleir got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 1-1. Amancio Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Sidney Hermes made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Dionisio Emesto sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when CANIL VON ZAATARI™️ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jefferson Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute Wilfredo Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedrão Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, CANIL VON ZAATARI™️'s Sidney Hermes got control of the ball when Desiderio Corderun tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CANIL VON ZAATARI™️! Genaro Frechoso shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
