Filip Mirciulescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alejo Abajas, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by BVB 09's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rolando Furtado was slow to take the kick. During this time Zuberbühler FC's players had a chance to rest. Filip Mirciulescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Cordaryal in the 28th minute of the match. Marian Morovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Siro Dantel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustavo Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, BVB 09's Augustin Arbore got a free kick in the 37th minute. Rolando Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Francisc Ionete hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Zuberbühler FC's Joel Christobal got a free kick in the 46th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Abeitia was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 59 minutes, Alejo Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zuberbühler FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Abajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute Alejo Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Mirciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisc Ionete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Siro Dantel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Joaquin Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Marius Agulescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. BVB 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Marius Agulescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Dantel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Furtado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Filip Mirciulescu. BVB 09's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Ruisko in the 80th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisc Ionete's late challenge caught a Zuberbühler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisc Ionete helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, BVB 09 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Vieru to maneuver through the defense. When Rolando Furtado came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Zuberbühler FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Furtado couldn't finish the play. BVB 09's Filip Mirciulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Abeitia in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, BVB 09's Francisc Ionete dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iordache Staicu during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. BVB 09's Francisc Ionete got his second yellow card of the match in the 95th minute. The referee ordered Francisc Ionete off the ground. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
