An unexpectedly hard shot by Kelaino Mbappè in the 18th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alex Vieru fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BVB 09's protests and gave Alex Vieru a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izydor Limanowski in the 25th minute of play forced BVB 09's goalkeeper Filip Mirciulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Radomir Dzerwucki to make the kick off. When Sandu Bâru came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the BVB 09 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandu Bâru couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Modlau getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Krzysztof Klejnowski hit a great ball. Marian Morovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Krzysztof Cielencki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Marian Morovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. BVB 09's supporters rose to their feet, but Marian Morovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krzysztof Cielencki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Krzysztof Cielencki came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by BVB 09's Sandu Bâru. But to his dismay, Sandu Bâru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Filip Mirciulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Glogowski in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Modlau defense, Sandu Bâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Krzysztof Cielencki. The Modlau fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Krzysztof Cielencki should have stopped the shot. Martin Oroveanu charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Oroveanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Modlau booed when BVB 09 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Ionete didn't get a good kick on the ball. The BVB 09 support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
