Falckner FC's Genaro Frechoso couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for 卡納里尼奧 FC. Laerte Marquez scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amancio Paez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laerte Marquez in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amancio Paez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of 卡納里尼奧 FC booed when Falckner FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Régis Vides shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 16th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Amancio Paez but with some difficulty. Carlos Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th minute Wilfredo Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo de Lima. In the 21st match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godofredo Fix to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the 卡納里尼奧 FC defense, Wilfredo Gil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Marinho. The 卡納里尼奧 FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Marinho should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, 卡納里尼奧 FC's Vítor da Costa got a free kick in the 37th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Falckner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Marquez came free, but Amancio Paez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Ronaldão Torres's late challenge caught a Falckner FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ronaldão Torres helped the player get up and apologised. Dionisio Emesto came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carlos Marinho could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Emesto got free with Carlos Marinho in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Corderun in the 58th minute of play. Régis Vides's late challenge caught a Falckner FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Régis Vides helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes 卡納里尼奧 FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Vides. Amancio Paez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Guedes in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Giuseppe Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting a goal against them. Genaro Frechoso made a great header on Falckner FC's corner, it was just that 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th minute, Dionisio Emesto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falckner FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Amancio Paez came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by 卡納里尼奧 FC's Agostinho Guedes. But to his dismay, Agostinho Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Carlos Marinho made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Wilfredo Gil sent off a good shot on target. Falckner FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
