Horea Hurmuzache came out of the goal and Víctor Urioste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in DINAMO fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 10 minutes, C.A. GUAYACO's Yader Aramberri got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Horea Hurmuzache. Yader Aramberri charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yader Aramberri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yader Aramberri hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vela Garros. 21 minutes into the game, Petre Mineață was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GUAYACO the free kick. A collision led to DINAMO getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Petre Mineață hit a great ball. Horea Hurmuzache made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Vela Garros sent off a good shot on target. Hugo Mejia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Rednic went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 32 in the game by Vela Garros from a close distance when the talented Horea Hurmuzache managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved. After 32 minutes, Gică Bocșan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DINAMO and the C.A. GUAYACO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gică Bocșan hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With his leg Horea Hurmuzache managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when C.A. GUAYACO's Vela Garros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 37 minutes into the match, C.A. GUAYACO's Vela Garros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horea Hurmuzache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Adam Rednic was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DINAMO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. GUAYACO the free kick. The supporters of C.A. GUAYACO booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Rednic didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Vela Garros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Horea Hurmuzache. Vela Garros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víctor Urioste, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Víctor Urioste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vela Garros was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Adam Rednic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Víctor Urioste in the 64th minute of play forced DINAMO's goalkeeper Horea Hurmuzache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adam Rednic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adam Rednic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Hugo Mejia made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Rednic got free with Hugo Mejia in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adam Rednic in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Mejia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 82nd minute Eugen Bobocea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Mejia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vela Garros came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the C.A. GUAYACO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vela Garros couldn't finish the play. DINAMO's Remus Șerbulea was substituted for Adam Rednic. After a rather tough play, C.A. GUAYACO's Rey Villazan got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Eugen Bobocea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yader Aramberri in the 92nd minute of play.
