The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Eduardo de Carvalho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, UPTEXTIL.COM's Juan Mello got a free kick in the 36th minute. Amancio Paez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After the first half UPTEXTIL.COM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diguinho Lucas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Falckner FC's Amancio Paez got control of the ball when Diguinho Lucas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diguinho Lucas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claudinei Botelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amancio Paez. Falckner FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Corderun during the 73rd minute.
