Joe Espino's late challenge caught a C.A. GUAYACO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joe Espino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th minute, Joe Espino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yader Aramberri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vela Garros was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Mejia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jose Centella kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Antonio Nuñez got a free kick in the 81st minute. Manuel Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yader Aramberri in the 83rd minute of the match. With 84 minutes on the clock, Moreta Jaurigui commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Jose Centella shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. Manuel Torrijos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor Urioste, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Xacintu Monterrey during the 100th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to C.A. GUAYACO getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Xacintu Monterrey hit a great ball. The long shot by Moisés Arias in the 101st minute really tested Hugo Mejia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
