Roque Martxel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Abeitia. Manuel Torrijos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Abeitia, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Zuberbühler FC booed when GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Zuberbühler FC's Rolando Furtado tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Apolo Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Torrijos having to interfere. Manuel Torrijos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Cordaryal in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Abajas came free, but Manuel Torrijos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roque Martxel kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Manuel Torrijos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rolando Furtado who took care of the corner kick. 25 minutes into the game, Alejo Abajas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manuel Torrijos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Cordaryal in the 30th minute of play forced GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s goalkeeper Manuel Torrijos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Cordaryal took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Torrijos. Manuel Torrijos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Joe Garcia lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 35 played minutes GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Joe Garcia. Rolando Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manuel Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Abeitia in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st match minute, GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Gustavo Cordaryal scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Torrijos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Apolo Abeitia to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejo Abajas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Manuel Torrijos having to make a save. 53 minutes into the game, Zuberbühler FC's Gustavo Cordaryal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Torrijos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 57th minute, Franklin Mora hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-5 became the score in the 59th minute when Apolo Abeitia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. made a substitution. Joe Henriguez replaced Reinaldo Osorio. Mario Laurin hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Moisés Arias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Siro Dantel. Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 75 minutes, Jose Centella mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. and the Zuberbühler FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Alejo Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C.'s Manuel Torrijos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. from getting a goal against them. Manuel Torrijos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Cordaryal in the 86th minute of play. The supporters of GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Furtado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Torrijos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Apolo Abeitia in the 96th minute. Zuberbühler FC played a much better game than GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. and deserved their victory. The GÉMINIS DARIÉN F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
