When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dorian Valladares made a kick off. Jaime Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After 56 played minutes, Black Rose 1979's Maximiliano Dalmu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogério Ceni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Rose 1979 reached it. Celedonio Iraitz's late challenge caught a Divina Comédia FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, José Paulo Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. Divina Comédia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paulo Negri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zacarias Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Tello could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Rogério Ceni made a huge save. In the 88th minute Adrian Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Black Rose 1979's Norberto Medardo got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valério Cordeiro went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score.
