Modesto Roland had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Robinho Magalhães's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Afonso Maciel scored 2-0 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Roland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 33rd minute, ITAFUT 4EVER's Sebastião Diniz seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sebastião Diniz the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ITAFUT 4EVER protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sebastião Diniz had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when ITAFUT 4EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Paulo Munhoz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santo Piorno during the 41st minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Pietro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
