Joaquin Fonso ran back to his position shaking his head. After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner Dionisio Monico fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gerrit Kemper quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th match minute, Decathlon Dudes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bennie Wilson to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Jonatan Felipo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerrit Kemper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Arjan Robben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Atlético Atlanta getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Anibal Sancho hit a great ball. If Bennie Wilson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Shantala to maneuver through the defense. 32 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Ranolfo came free, but Gerrit Kemper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's Alex Deinse sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basilio Justin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Atlanta! Basilio Justin had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Alex Deinse's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Ranolfo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Deinse in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Basilio Justin saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. Dionisio Monico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerrit Kemper having to interfere. Bennie Wilson hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arjan Robben in the 85th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Basilio Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Basilio Justin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arjan Robben, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 95th minute, Arjan Robben ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Decathlon Dudes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
