The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Decathlon Dudes's Alex Deinse was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 3rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Decathlon Dudes booed when BESTIA GDAŃSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Brysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Bart Schild shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wawrzyniec Poling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 9 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Bart Schild. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lech Wolicki during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wawrzyniec Poling acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Bart Schild. 16 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goal looked a bit too open when Lech Wolicki came free, but Gerrit Kemper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley van Rhijn came free, but Wawrzyniec Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Decathlon Dudes got a corner. BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bart Schild ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Decathlon Dudes's corner Bart Schild fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wawrzyniec Poling quite easily take care of the ball. Bennie Wilson's late challenge caught a BESTIA GDAŃSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bennie Wilson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Decathlon Dudes's Bennie Wilson got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Henry van Dam fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Decathlon Dudes's protests and gave Henry van Dam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Henry van Dam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Wawrzyniec Poling managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Decathlon Dudes's Felix Janus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 40 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Deinse came free, but Wawrzyniec Poling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Wawrzyniec Poling successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arjan Robben was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 46th minute. Decathlon Dudes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Alex Deinse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Deinse in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wawrzyniec Poling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute, Wesley van Rhijn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Decathlon Dudes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Decathlon Dudes's Gerrit Kemper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyryl Patrylo in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Lech Wolicki got a free kick in the 60th minute. After a defensive mix-up in BESTIA GDAŃSK's zone, Wesley van Rhijn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wawrzyniec Poling came out of the goal and Wesley van Rhijn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by BESTIA GDAŃSK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bart Schild was slow to take the kick. During this time Decathlon Dudes's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of BESTIA GDAŃSK booed when Decathlon Dudes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bart Schild didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Cyprian Kinic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Wesley van Rhijn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Decathlon Dudes's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley van Rhijn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wawrzyniec Poling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 minutes of play, Decathlon Dudes's Alex Deinse made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wawrzyniec Poling was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Decathlon Dudes fully deserved thier win.
