After 18 minutes of play, Herblay's Léon Mons made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Ceni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dove Roig in the 21st minute of play. Dove Roig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Léon Mons came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Divina Comédia FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dorian Valladares hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Divina Comédia FC defense, Léon Mons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Divina Comédia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dove Roig, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Divina Comédia FC's Hortêncio Viana nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
