After having played for 17 minutes, Jean-Charles Gauche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herblay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Charles Gauche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Dove Roig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Basilio Justin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 25th minute, Jean-Charles Gauche left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Herblay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 27 minutes, Jean-Charles Gauche mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herblay and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pacôme Cugnet hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dove Roig got free with Basilio Justin in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lucien Decottignies could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Basilio Justin made a huge save. Bernardo Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Domenech having to interfere. Dionisio Monico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norbert Domenech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Lucien Decottignies received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Basilio Justin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonatan Felipo was the one to do the kick off. Dionisio Monico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Norbert Domenech made a huge save. Club Atlético Atlanta's Basilio Justin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildas Montaut in the 58th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Herblay's goalkeeper Norbert Domenech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Felipo. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Jean-Charles Gauche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Justin came out of the goal and Jean-Charles Gauche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 74 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Eustaquio Gerazan. With a little luck, Herblay's Norbert Domenech got control of the ball when Jonatan Felipo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Samuel during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 82 minutes into the match, Herblay's goalkeeper Norbert Domenech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonatan Felipo. In the 85th minute, Jonatan Felipo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Jean-Charles Gauche got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With his leg Norbert Domenech managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Club Atlético Atlanta's Jonatan Felipo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st minute Leonardo Paulin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norbert Domenech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Redouane Caffier hit a great ball. After 97 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Bouziane. Norbert Domenech was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Dionisio Monico.
