But to his dismay, Güney Dokuzoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 10 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when Güney Dokuzoğlu came free, but Norbert Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Norbert Domenech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Güney Dokuzoğlu in the 33rd minute. Norbert Domenech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batu Özdeğer in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Herblay's zone, Ufuk Sami stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norbert Domenech came out of the goal and Ufuk Sami tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Güney Dokuzoğlu made the kick off in the second half. When Güney Dokuzoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the SARI ZEYBEK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Güney Dokuzoğlu couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored Herblay's protests and gave Thierry Cottard a yellow card for diving instead. Batu Özdeğer took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Domenech. Norbert Domenech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 79thth minute of the game Güney Dokuzoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herblay's Norbert Domenech was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the game, SARI ZEYBEK's Güney Dokuzoğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Norbert Domenech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Jean-Charles Gauche hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
