The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Ruperto Ramirez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Horea Hurmuzache, 1-0. If Severo Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lobos de Carelia's Severo Pietro got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ruperto Ramirez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Horea Hurmuzache when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ruperto Ramirez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, DINAMO's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Pietro came free, but Horea Hurmuzache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lobos de Carelia's Modesto Roland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Mineață in the 28th minute of play. Adam Rednic scored 1-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modesto Roland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of DINAMO booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Piorno didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Santo Piorno fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lobos de Carelia's protests and gave Santo Piorno a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Mineață in the 45th minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Modesto Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Rednic to make the kick off. Adam Rednic kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Horea Hurmuzache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Pietro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Pietro in the 61st minute of play. With an all-out effort, DINAMO's Modesto Roland threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adam Rednic, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 71st play minute Adam Rednic came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Modesto Roland. 1-2. In the 75th minute, Ruperto Ramirez made a precise shot to the right of Horea Hurmuzache. DINAMO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, DINAMO's Eugen Bobocea got a free kick in the 78th minute. Modesto Roland was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Adam Rednic capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adam Rednic really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Horea Hurmuzache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Pietro in the 91st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as DINAMO's Eugen Bobocea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Modesto Roland. That made the score 2-4 after 94 minutes of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. DINAMO had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
