Modesto Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Divina Comédia FC's Dieguinho de Almeida dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Ascencio in the 29th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes, Lobos de Carelia's Atilano Vachon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rogério Ceni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lobos de Carelia reached it. Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Piorno in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Divina Comédia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulino Ascencio in the 40th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Sanches. If Paulino Ascencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruperto Ramirez in the 47th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruperto Ramirez to make the kick off. Ruperto Ramirez struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rogério Ceni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lobos de Carelia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Furtado in the 63rd minute of play forced Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper Modesto Roland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Roland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Valladares in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Severo Pietro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lobos de Carelia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divina Comédia FC the free kick. After 65 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Severo Pietro. Modesto Roland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Valladares in the 67th minute of the match. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lobos de Carelia's Severo Pietro. But to his dismay, Severo Pietro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dorian Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 81st minute of the game Gaspar Mel made a throw-in which Ruperto Ramirez played forward. Modesto Roland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dorian Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Lobos de Carelia's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Lobos de Carelia may have spent more time on the ball, but Divina Comédia FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
