Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Victorino Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Piratas FC's zone, Darryl Buckner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Gaufred came out of the goal and Darryl Buckner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Victorino Gaufred made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Darryl Buckner in the 11th minute of play. In the 26th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Darryl Buckner put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Victorino Gaufred. 32 minutes into the match, Piratas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Victorino Gaufred reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner. Claudio Cerritos went to the cornerflag to take it. Claudio Cerritos made a great header on Dep Colonia Avellaneda's corner, it was just that Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred managed to reach the ball for a save. Darryl Buckner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorino Gaufred read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Walter San Juan got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Darryl Buckner might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Gaufred. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Darryl Buckner ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Dep Colonia Avellaneda were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Victorino Gaufred didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darryl Buckner went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Victorino Gaufred took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darryl Buckner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Piratas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Sendoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Claudio Cerritos from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Victorino Gaufred's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 64th minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Darryl Buckner came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darryl Buckner couldn't finish the play. If Darryl Buckner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Piratas FC's Alvaro Martxot got a free kick in the 71st minute. Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darryl Buckner in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute Dep Colonia Avellaneda were awarded a corner. Claudio Cerritos went to the cornerflag to take it. Victorino Gaufred stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Darryl Buckner's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piratas FC's goalkeeper Victorino Gaufred, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Piratas FC's goalie and right to Vasile Tufescu. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Piratas FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 89 minutes into the match, Darryl Buckner notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Piratas FC's Victorino Gaufred. Victorino Gaufred was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 93rd minute Darryl Buckner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Gaufred saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walter San Juan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
