After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Afonso da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Glogowski came out of the goal and Afonso da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Afonso da Cunha sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's zone, Mugur Chiriac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludomil Ziomkowski came out of the goal and Mugur Chiriac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Afonso da Cunha dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pankracy Glogowski, 1-0. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after Club Atlético Atlanta's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xande Campbell took the corner. After taking down the ball on CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's corner Xande Campbell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pankracy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th minute, Afonso da Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afonso da Cunha in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Afonso da Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Glogowski was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Pankracy Glogowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Afonso da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Ludomil Ziomkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Nevada in the 65th minute of play. If Afonso da Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pankracy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Afonso da Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
