In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falckner FC's goalkeeper Loco De la Maza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Gaspar Francesco hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Gianluca Vialli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Dan Wennerqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adrián Espadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Loco De la Maza made a huge save. The Soroca F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Falckner FC were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gianluca Vialli to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrián Espadas in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loco De la Maza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Romulo Thomas was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Soroca F.C.'s Müslüm Baba was substituted for Zézinho Neiva. Loco De la Maza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Soroca F.C. fully deserved thier win.
