After having played for 21 minutes, Eliézer Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Divina Comédia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliézer Cavalcante was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Leopoldo Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zhuang Shi Ting was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zhuang Shi Ting saved Divina Comédia FC from getting behind. The Divina Comédia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 33 minutes into the match, Eliézer Cavalcante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoriano Bernaldo. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eliézer Cavalcante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 36th minute, Leo Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Divina Comédia FC's Juan França got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Zhuang Shi Ting took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvinho Mangueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Victoriano Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's Eliézer Cavalcante sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Divina Comédia FC made a substitution. Zé Paulo Siqueira replaced Silvinho Mangueira. 85 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Libertad came free, but Zhuang Shi Ting reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
