An unexpectedly hard shot by Javier Della Francesca in the 21st minute of play forced The Glorious FC's goalkeeper Diogo de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diogo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Della Francesca in the 23rd minute of play. Alvaro Sforza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Diogo de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvaro Sforza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Horia Nasta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Roma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Glorious FC the free kick. After 51 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Horia Nasta. In the 56th minute Feliks Škarpa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristoforo Brillante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Fang Hao Jing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristoforo Brillante. That made the score 1-2 in the 64 minute of play. In the 68th minute Alvaro Sforza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Roma reached it. Angelo Donati lost his temper 95 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Angelo Donati kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. With a little luck, AC Roma's Cristoforo Brillante got control of the ball when Vivaldo Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Glorious FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
