In the 6th minute Victor Piţurcă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Jaime Carioca in the 13th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Real Calle's Leon Russel. Tim Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Damian Furlit sent off a good shot on target. In the 15th minute of the match, Gabriel Vermeşan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tim Nyberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bogdan Lobonț showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benny Benno, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Piţurcă in the 23rd minute of play forced Real Calle's goalkeeper Tim Nyberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Nyberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Victor Piţurcă's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Tim Nyberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Vermeşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Benny Benno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Lobonț. Emerald's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benny Benno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by Carlos Caldeira in the 35th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Emerald's Hurşit Cemşit. Emerald's Bogdan Lobonț played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Benno in the 40th minute of play. After 42 minutes Emerald's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timmy Krusfeldt who took care of the corner kick. In the 43rd minute Benny Benno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Lobonț made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Lorien in the 46th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victor Piţurcă made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Haroldo Lorien cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Bogdan Lobonț was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bogdan Lobonț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benny Benno in the 54th minute. After some careless play in the Real Calle defense, Ferdinand Condrea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tim Nyberg. The Real Calle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tim Nyberg should have stopped the shot. Carlos Manuel Facuse came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bogdan Lobonț could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Real Calle's zone, Victor Piţurcă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Nyberg came out of the goal and Victor Piţurcă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute Benny Benno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Lobonț saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Lobonț took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Benno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Real Calle's Dolfo Olmos was substituted for Timmy Krusfeldt. A collision led to Emerald getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Victor Piţurcă hit a great ball. Bogdan Lobonț was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Benny Benno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 83 minute of play. Bogdan Lobonț made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benny Benno in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Real Calle were awarded a corner. Benny Benno went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Real Calle getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Benny Benno hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Emerald's zone, George Wennersten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Lobonț came out of the goal and George Wennersten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haroldo Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Real Calle left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Emerald.
