Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Arnulfo Camus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. CD Municipal's George Forsyth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Nuñez in the 3rd minute of play. Dario Astigar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Ramon in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Camus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dario Astigar. SAN LORENZO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnulfo Camus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Camus in the 16th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Camus came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. George Forsyth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Nuñez in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, CD Municipal's George Forsyth got control of the ball when Artur Quintas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Arnulfo Camus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Astigar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Lv Ang Jing took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Forsyth. George Forsyth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. CD Municipal's Rene Benitez got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, SAN LORENZO FC's George Forsyth threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rafael Tiniebra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After the first half CD Municipal were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lisandro Nuñez made a kick off. The throw-in from Lisandro Nuñez in the 58th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by CD Municipal's Edelmiro Moise. SAN LORENZO FC's Dario Astigar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save SAN LORENZO FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Camus came free, but Dario Astigar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lisandro Nuñez might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over George Forsyth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lisandro Nuñez ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lisandro Nuñez managed to get in a good position for a shot. SAN LORENZO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Nuñez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George Forsyth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. SAN LORENZO FC made a substitution. Ciriaco Cordarrell replaced Lisandro Nuñez. Ciriaco Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Forsyth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
