Amerigo Rosi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benny Benno in the 8th minute. Real Calle's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benny Benno in the 9th minute. Real Calle's Timmy Krusfeldt was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Amerigo Rosi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tim Nyberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 秦青光 in the 14th minute of the match. Bari F.C.'s Amerigo Rosi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bari F.C. from getting a goal against them. If 秦青光 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tim Nyberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 秦青光's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 秦青光 in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Nyberg saved Real Calle from getting behind. The audience was convinced that 秦青光's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tim Nyberg was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 秦青光 in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Nyberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Jaroslaw Kensicki had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tim Nyberg. Real Calle's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslaw Kensicki was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Carlos Caldeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Calle's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Caldeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amerigo Rosi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Ricardo Temporal came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Real Calle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Temporal couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, Bari F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Lorien came free, but Amerigo Rosi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Calle were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
