In the 5th minute of the match CD Municipal got a corner. Unicorns ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oliver Ramon ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Oliver Ramon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Corneliu Vulpăşin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 17th minute Rene Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Denis Negruț fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Unicorns ™'s protests and gave Denis Negruț a yellow card for diving instead. Denis Negruț kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Oliver Ramon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Corneliu Vulpăşin. Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Rene Benitez came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fix Bolonga kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. George Forsyth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rareș Papadima in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Unicorns ™'s Denis Negruț got a free kick in the 27th minute. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 30th minute of play. Corneliu Vulpăşin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Camus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Camus came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corneliu Vulpăşin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rene Benitez's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin. That made the score 0-2 after 71 minutes of play. 74 minutes into the match, Unicorns ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Fix Bolonga came free, but Corneliu Vulpăşin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unicorns ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CD Municipal the free kick. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CD Municipal played a much better game than Unicorns ™ and deserved their victory. The Unicorns ™ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
