Tim Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Real Calle's Alexander Lingren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After having played for 14 minutes, Doriva Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miau Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronaldo Fenomeno might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tim Nyberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldo Fenomeno ran back to his position shaking his head. Tim Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldo Fenomeno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdulkadir Eraslan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Benno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Nyberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Miau Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Lingren came free, but Abdulkadir Eraslan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Real Calle were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Miau Stars's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alexander Lingren took the corner. The corner led Real Calle's Alexander Lingren to fire away a dangerous shot which Abdulkadir Eraslan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 32nd minute Ronaldo Fenomeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Nyberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno in 33 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tim Nyberg guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Real Calle's Tim Nyberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 34th minute of play. Ronaldo Fenomeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tim Nyberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 42nd match minute, Real Calle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Russel to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Fenomeno was the one to do the kick off. Leon Russel's late challenge caught a Miau Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leon Russel helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Real Calle's Leon Russel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Calle's goalkeeper Tim Nyberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miau Stars were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Real Calle's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmílson Arantes took the corner. A collision led to Real Calle getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Leon Russel hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Ronaldo Fenomeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Calle's goalkeeper Tim Nyberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Miau Stars made a substitution. Kenneth Knutsson replaced Marco Veremundo. Miau Stars's Olavo Mota was substituted for Edmílson Arantes. In the 66th minute Miau Stars were awarded a corner. İslam Mengüalp went to the cornerflag to take it. Ricardo Temporal hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Leon Russel kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ronaldo Fenomeno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benny Benno took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abdulkadir Eraslan. Abdulkadir Eraslan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tim Nyberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Fenomeno in the 83rd minute. Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Real Calle made a substitution. Dolfo Olmos replaced George Wennersten. 90 minutes into the match, Real Calle's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Saldanha came free, but Tim Nyberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tim Nyberg made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Ronaldo Fenomeno sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Miau Stars's Ronaldo Fenomeno slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tim Nyberg. That made the score 2-1 after 94 minutes of play. Miau Stars's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
