With a little luck, Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin got control of the ball when Arnulfo Camus tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Camus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Corneliu Vulpăşin made a huge save. In the 5th match minute, Unicorns ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Huștiu to maneuver through the defense. Corneliu Vulpăşin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Oliver Ramon. Mugur Siniştean charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mugur Siniştean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mugur Siniştean kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Corneliu Vulpăşin acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oliver Ramon. Aurel Huștiu's late challenge caught a CD Municipal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aurel Huștiu helped the player get up and apologised. Palle Tazon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Tudor Bodea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Forsyth read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute Rareș Papadima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Forsyth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Arnulfo Camus fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Corneliu Vulpăşin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Camus in the 27th minute. 1-0 became the score in the 31st minute when Palle Tazon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With an all-out effort, CD Municipal's Corneliu Vulpăşin threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Palle Tazon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Camus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Corneliu Vulpăşin, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnulfo Camus to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Denis Negruț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corneliu Vulpăşin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palle Tazon in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Arnulfo Camus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Vulpăşin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Bodea charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnulfo Camus in the 60th minute of play forced Unicorns ™'s goalkeeper Corneliu Vulpăşin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palle Tazon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Vulpăşin having to interfere. Palle Tazon kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Tudor Bodea came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and George Forsyth could save by the left post. Corneliu Vulpăşin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnulfo Camus in the 67th minute of the match. Unicorns ™'s Corneliu Vulpăşin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palle Tazon in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Unicorns ™ getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Tudor Bodea hit a great ball. CD Municipal's Palle Tazon got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When CD Municipal's Arnulfo Camus in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Unicorns ™'s goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Unicorns ™ booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Camus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to CD Municipal getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fix Bolonga hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Palle Tazon put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Corneliu Vulpăşin.
