With his leg Constantin Potocianu managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 6 minutes Mapovihesa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Allan Blom who took care of the corner kick. The corner led SAN LORENZO FC's Allan Blom to fire away a dangerous shot which Constantin Potocianu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in SAN LORENZO FC's zone, Usain Bolt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Astigar came out of the goal and Usain Bolt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 23 minutes Mapovihesa FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Allan Blom who took care of the corner kick. Shao Zhen Xiao made a great header on SAN LORENZO FC's corner, it was just that Mapovihesa FC's Constantin Potocianu managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 32nd match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Quintas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Saka in the 33rd minute of play forced SAN LORENZO FC's goalkeeper Dario Astigar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Léon Valin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The supporters of SAN LORENZO FC booed when Mapovihesa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mapovihesa FC's Marcial Iratze managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Léon Valin in the 44 minute of the game. In the 47th match minute, SAN LORENZO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Quintas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the SAN LORENZO FC defense, Usain Bolt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Astigar. The SAN LORENZO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Astigar should have stopped the shot. After the first half Mapovihesa FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mapovihesa FC's attentive Rafael Figueroa managed to snatch the ball when Claudio Quentin made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. After 56 played minutes SAN LORENZO FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Quentin. 60 minutes into the match, SAN LORENZO FC's Lisandro Nuñez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Constantin Potocianu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dario Astigar was a little too slow when Usain Bolt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-3. Raimundo Erramu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Dario Astigar made a huge save. Constantin Potocianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Quintas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, Jerzy Wojno made a precise shot to the right of Dario Astigar. SAN LORENZO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. 89 minutes into the game, Rafael Figueroa threw the ball into play from the sideline. SAN LORENZO FC's Artur Quintas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 96th minute, Raimundo Erramu made a precise shot to the right of Dario Astigar. SAN LORENZO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. Mapovihesa FC's Stig Andersson was substituted for Usain Bolt. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mapovihesa FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
