The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Eliseu Fonseca made the kick off in the second half. Zé Sabóia stood somewhat misplaced when Gilson Damião came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 84 minute. In the 90th minute Javier Agudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Sabóia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Fonseca in the 95th minute of play forced Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's goalkeeper Xose Valtierra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Eliseu Fonseca notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Caldo de Gallina Ranchero's Xose Valtierra.
