Twan van Nistelrooij started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodri Gol in the 10th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Leahu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Éthan Pichard's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Felix Leahu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Brăiloiu in the 19th minute of play forced SV Bad Harzburg's goalkeeper Jacek Matuch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toralf Hell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Felix Leahu made a huge save. Felix Leahu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvestre Loi in the 23rd minute. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éthan Pichard in the 26th minute of play. Felix Leahu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Éthan Pichard in the 32nd minute of the match. Jacek Matuch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan van Nistelrooij in the 36th minute of play. Michael Jordan hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of F.C. YKE booed when SV Bad Harzburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takeshi Bieberstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvestre Loi to make the kick off. If Jurek Ohrem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toralf Hell in the 59th minute of play. Éthan Pichard took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Leahu. Felix Leahu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. F.C. YKE's Felix Leahu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurek Ohrem in the 65th minute of play. Felix Leahu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Loi in the 68th minute of the match. Samet Ağar's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Jacek Matuch skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éthan Pichard in the 78th minute of play forced F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodri Gol hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the SV Bad Harzburg defense, Samet Ağar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacek Matuch. The SV Bad Harzburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacek Matuch should have stopped the shot. F.C. YKE's Mugur Ceaușescu was substituted for Traian Brăiloiu. Samet Ağar struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jacek Matuch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. YKE. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. F.C. YKE walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
