A collision led to NŠ MURA getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Naim Trafela hit a great ball. With a little luck, NŠ MURA's Juan Nueva got control of the ball when Ramón Wanchope tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Jorge Bitxintxo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Nueva was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Juan Nueva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Wanchope, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 56 played minutes Burukster got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Motta. Juan Nueva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Bitxintxo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Bitxintxo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Nueva saved NŠ MURA from getting behind. Jorge Bitxintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Juan Nueva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramón Wanchope struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Juan Nueva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burukster. In the 93rd minute Ramón Wanchope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Nueva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jorge Bitxintxo struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Juan Nueva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Burukster. With an all-out effort, NŠ MURA's Jeremias Ribeiro threw himself towards the right post 96 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Onur Ali Okuyan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. NŠ MURA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
