Martin Rana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Mateo Llorienzo made a huge save. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Merengue FC's goalkeeper Mateo Llorienzo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Merengue FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Banaszak made a kick off.
