Matei Oltean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Lanczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Rana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur-Recep Kıvrak having to interfere. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rana in the 45th minute of play. Matei Oltean was a little too slow when Benedykt Lanczak got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Lanczak to strike the kick off in the second half.
