In the 31stth minute of the game Colas Valdueza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Floriana Celtics's Richard Lentini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Matt Sciortino was slow to take the kick. During this time Floriana Celtics's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Floriana Celtics's Matt Sciortino to fire away a dangerous shot which Benedicto Ireno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Matt Sciortino led 33 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's Benedicto Ireno became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. In the 39th minute Colas Valdueza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Lentini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olgierd Dawiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Benedicto Ireno made a huge save. Richard Lentini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colas Valdueza, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyle Thake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cristo Karlo fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's protests and gave Cristo Karlo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristo Karlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Ireno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matt Sciortino, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Igor Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Thake in the 96th minute of play forced C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalkeeper Benedicto Ireno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Floriana Celtics fully deserved thier win.
