The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of BK Tåfjutt booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Estevon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Grêmio FBPA's Alberto Estevon got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pipis Karapatakis in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hampus Vall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the match, BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Hampus Vall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipis Karapatakis. 13 minutes into the game, Karol Magdziarz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jardel Sanches was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BK Tåfjutt were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Grêmio FBPA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kosmas Charalambakis took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Filiph Biörling managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Filiph Biörling was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hampus Vall breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Barck in the 28th minute of play. Filiph Biörling hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 35th minute, Karol Magdziarz made a precise shot to the right of Jardel Sanches. Grêmio FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 39 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Jörn Barck came free, but Jardel Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Karol Magdziarz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jardel Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Jax, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Jardel Sanches took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ture Alström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

BK Tåfjutt's Viktor Dahlman was substituted for Jörn Barck. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pipis Karapatakis was the one to do the kick off. Grêmio FBPA's attentive Kaká Rot managed to snatch the ball when Isidro Urti made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Viktor Dahlman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Jardel Sanches made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipis Karapatakis in the 61st minute of play forced BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Hampus Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the BK Tåfjutt defense, Pipis Karapatakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hampus Vall. The BK Tåfjutt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hampus Vall should have stopped the shot. BK Tåfjutt's Nildo Lendaa was substituted for Huang Wei Hong. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Dahlman in the 72nd minute of play forced Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jardel Sanches didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viktor Dahlman went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Jardel Sanches made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ken Golang in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Dahlman came free, but Jardel Sanches reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grêmio FBPA's Ted Hoogenkamp was substituted for Filiph Biörling. 86 minutes into the match, Ken Golang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jardel Sanches. Grêmio FBPA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ken Golang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. 89 minutes in the game Alberto Estevon did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Rafa de Almeida. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched BK Tåfjutt eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
