Cyryl Gotfryd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Sanches having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Kenn Kuberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipis Karapatakis. 9 minutes into the match, Cyryl Gotfryd notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches. Jardel Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Grêmio FBPA booed when Skellerup FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan-Benjamin Hula didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pipis Karapatakis got free with Kenn Kuberg in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pipis Karapatakis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenn Kuberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Grêmio FBPA's goalkeeper Jardel Sanches, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Skellerup FC's Vagnar Halckendorff managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Nestor Leão in the 23 minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 26th minute Stefan-Benjamin Hula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel Sanches saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Cyryl Gotfryd notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches. Jardel Sanches was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the game, Nestor Leão threw the ball into play from the sideline. Skellerup FC's Vagnar Halckendorff quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cosimo Franceschini made in the 32nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Paris Hilty. In the 40th minute, Stefan-Benjamin Hula made a precise shot to the right of Jardel Sanches. Grêmio FBPA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 43rd minute, Cyryl Gotfryd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jardel Sanches was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cyryl Gotfryd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Skellerup FC defense, Pipis Karapatakis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenn Kuberg. The Skellerup FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenn Kuberg should have stopped the shot. Grêmio FBPA's Jardel Sanches proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Grêmio FBPA from getting a goal against them. Skellerup FC made a substitution. Anti Kodu replaced Cyryl Gotfryd. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Vagnar Halckendorff hit a great ball. Pipis Karapatakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenn Kuberg having to interfere. Anti Kodu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jardel Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Grêmio FBPA's Ted Hoogenkamp was substituted for Filiph Biörling. 83 minutes into the match, Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenn Kuberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grêmio FBPA were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Skellerup FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alberto Estevon took the corner. The corner ended in Nestor Leão almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skellerup FC's Kenn Kuberg did a great save. Kenn Kuberg came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio FBPA's Pipis Karapatakis. But to his dismay, Pipis Karapatakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skellerup FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
