The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Óscar Cordoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörn Barck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 minutes of play, BK Tåfjutt's Karol Magdziarz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Óscar Cordoba came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by BK Tåfjutt's Karol Magdziarz. But to his dismay, Karol Magdziarz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Karol Magdziarz came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Karol Magdziarz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Óscar Cordoba. Sporting de Gijón's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Magdziarz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 31 minutes into the match, Karol Magdziarz notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba. Óscar Cordoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Saturnino Curcio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hampus Vall. BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Óscar Cordoba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Magdziarz in the 39th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jörn Barck in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Óscar Cordoba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 45 minutes in the game Eustacio Loiola did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Diego Maradona. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Bilintx in the 46th minute of play forced BK Tåfjutt's goalkeeper Hampus Vall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Karol Magdziarz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BK Tåfjutt's Viktor Dahlman was substituted for Jörn Barck. BK Tåfjutt's Ken Golang was substituted for Karol Magdziarz. After the first half BK Tåfjutt were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matias Bilintx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Óscar Cordoba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ken Golang went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Ken Golang came free, but Óscar Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 63 minutes of play, BK Tåfjutt's Ken Golang made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Óscar Cordoba was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ken Golang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Óscar Cordoba made a huge save. In the 68th minute of the match BK Tåfjutt got a corner. Sporting de Gijón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kosmas Charalambakis ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kosmas Charalambakis made a great header on BK Tåfjutt's corner, it was just that Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba managed to reach the ball for a save. Óscar Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ken Golang, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes BK Tåfjutt got a freekick which was hit by Huang Wei Hong. BK Tåfjutt's Nildo Lendaa was substituted for Huang Wei Hong. Sporting de Gijón's Kauan de Barros was substituted for Atilano Feo. In the 74th match minute, BK Tåfjutt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Huang Wei Hong to maneuver through the defense. Hampus Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matias Bilintx in the 75th minute of the match. BK Tåfjutt's Ken Golang got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Mario Zanabria replaced Venancio Emesto. Óscar Cordoba made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ken Golang sent off a good shot on target. Hampus Vall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Maradona in the 87th minute of the match. Sporting de Gijón's Óscar Cordoba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Sporting de Gijón from getting a goal against them. The BK Tåfjutt players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
